happy birthday gabi!

I'm writing this in English because it would suck for you to have to translate it in Google translate like you always do and then it would probably come out completely messed up and I don't want you to misinterpret it (which is really hard when it comes to a congratulation but as I said, Google translate...). Either way, Happy 17th birthday, I hope you had a great day! I was really glad to hear about the scholarship and if you go to St. Petersburg (which I know you probably won't but still) there are ferries to there from here. Strange place to meet in after two years, but still.

I know we'll skype later but I wanted to congratulate you on the very day so you'd know I didn't forget it or something. And we will hopefully see each other next summer (and you will teach me to speak English correctly again, gah) and I thought of that and then I realized you'll be 18 then!

aww, thanks lisa for dedicating your page to me today:) i actually haven't had that much time to keep up w/ your blog, but then on the my top sites page on the mac it has the top websites, even updated, and i saw my name in your title:)



i really want to go to st. petersburg!! i know that one of the places people will be placed is gatchina, a suburb of petersburg (45km south). i was told that the people that stayed in gatchina last year frequently went on trips to petersburg, but i'm kinda uncertain as to if everybody visited petersburg at all. but there's like 4 possible places that i may be placed...so idk. i will be sure to let you know when i find out though. and yeah, that'd be so random!



don't worry, i'll teach you how to speak american. lol. it's funny, b/c lauren just asked me today about like our plans (like if you're coming again). but yeah, i really hope it works out!
